One of the key functions of the Royal Oak Arts Council is offering educational scholarships to graduating Royal Oak high school seniors.
The Royal Oak Arts Council is proud to award scholarships to Royal Oak high school seniors who continue to further their education in the fine and performing arts.
These scholarships are awarded based on all visual, performing and written art. The selection criteria for this award is based on grade point average, accomplishments in the arts and academics, recommendations, volunteer activities and often financial need.
This year we’d like to congratulate Emily Reece as our $2,500 scholarship award winner!
Emily is a senior at Shrine Catholic High School who will be studying studio art next fall at College for Creative Studies, Kalamazoo, or Kendall College of Art and Design.
We were fortunate to have so many qualified seniors apply this year, and the Art Council wishes everyone good luck as they head into the next stage of their academic journey.
